Stain Guide: Body Odor
This is a 4th generation dry cleaner's guide for removing body odor!
What you need

Stain removing spray designed for odor removal,

Laundry detergent designed for odor removal

Washing boosters (baking soda, washing soda, water softener, and sodium percaronbate)

Laundry sanitizing products

Oxygen bleach (it must be designated for sanitizing OR odor removal)
Steps

Pretreat those stinky areas with a stain removing spray designed for odor removal. The longer this pretreatment sits on the malodor the better it will work.

Use a detergent especially designed for odor removal.

Add washing boosters like washing soda, borax, and baking soda into the drum before loading your clothes to make the detergent more effective, a 1/4 cup will do.

Add rinse or sanitizing products in the fabric softener slo and ensure the fabric softener option is turned on (it goes in this specific slot because it is dispensed at the end of the cleaning cycle).

Wash your items as recommended by the care label.

If odor remains, soak your garments overnight in hot water and a powdered sanitizing or odor removal product.

Rewash your items at a higher temperature.
