Stain Guide: Bronzer

This is a 4th generation dry cleaner's guide for removing a bronzer stain!

What you need
  • Dish soap or laundry detergent
  • Powdered oxygen bleach or 3% hydrogen peroxide (as needed)
Steps
  1. Rinse the stain with cold water as soon as possible.
  2. Mix a solution of 2 or 3 drops of dish soap or laundry detergent and warm water. Work this solution into the stain and tamp it in with the brush.
  3. Wash as recommended on the care label.
  4. Inspect before drying. If the stain was removed, dry as recommended on the care label; if not, follow step 5.
  5. If the stain remains, soak it in hot water and powdered oxygen bleach for at least 8 hours and then rewash OR spray the garment with 3% hydrogen peroxide and allow it to air-dry.
