Stain Guide: Egg

This is a 4th generation dry cleaner's guide for removing an egg stain!

What you need
  • All-purpose stain-remover spray (with the enzyme protease)
Steps
  1. Wipe, rinse, or gently brush away any physical bits of the remaining stain.
  2. Tamp or pat in the all-purpose stain remover (the enzyme needed to break down the protein in egg is protease)
  3. Allow this pretreatment to sit on the stain for 15 minutes.
  4. Wash as recommended on the care label.
  5. Inspect before drying. If the stain was removed, dry as recommended on the care label. If not, repeat steps 2 to 4.
